Ian Philip

Sculptor - Visual Artist

My alternative text
In love with colours and materials - a style that is akin to an exercise in haute couture.

Ian Philip is a painter and visual artist born in 1986. Since his childhood, he likes to walk in the workshop of his great grandfather, himself a painter.

Self-taught, he first expressed himself by customizing objects and furniture.

After many years of discreet creations, Ian moves towards a much more personal work. Lover of colors and materials, his style is similar to an exercise in haute couture. Resin, plastic and wood are his favorite playgrounds.

Inspired by the Pop Art movement, comic books and the world of consumerism, it is not uncommon to find one of these references in his work. Great names such as Mondrian, Keith Haring or Andy Warhol also find a place in his colorful world.
