Brijite Bey, a French sculptor and artist, has always been from a very young age, nourished and sensitive by her love of beautiful things. After a career as a graphic designer, Brijite Bey, passionate about photography, haute couture, architecture, design and art in general, was also deeply involved in an organization dedicated to poor children around the world.
Later, this aesthete, in search of a creative means of expression, turned with talent to sculpture in which she found a great fascination for textures, contrasts, materials, shadows and lights. Various sources of inspiration sensitize the artist. On the one hand, the purified and minimalist primitive sculptures in which things are said with few words, and on the other hand the sculptural African facies that have always fascinated and sensitized her.
In her works, she reveals her eyes moved and touched by a palpable fragility marked by the nobility and strength emanating from these African faces.
